OmniCure LC280 UV LED Linear Curing Solution

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada, Jan. 24, 2013 — Lumen Dynamics has expanded its UV bonding solutions into wide-area curing for use in industrial manufacturing processes.

The OmniCure LC280 UV LED linear curing solution combines high-power UV output and low-temperature curing. It generates low heat during the curing process and cures a variety of substrates and materials without the heat damage caused by traditional lamp-based solutions.

Air-cooled UV LED technology eliminates the need for external cooling and ozone venting while consuming less power than lamp-based systems to simplify integration into new or existing production line infrastructures. Manufacturers can join multiple systems together to expand the addressable curing area. Applications include display and speaker assembly, electronics components, lens bonding and film lamination, and medical applications such as syringes, filters and insulin pens.
