MicroPower Direct’s MPU-400F series of power supplies provides 400 W of output power with a universal AC input and active power factor correction, making it suited for a variety of industrial power applications.

The series operates from a universal input of 90 to 264 volts of alternating current (VAC), providing tightly regulated single outputs. Outputs are factory set to 12, 24 or 48 volts of direct current (VDC) but are available over a range of 2 to 60 VDC. The series has a peak output power to 700 W and an input/output isolation of 3000 VAC. Each model operates between 0 and 70 °C and is packaged in a 6 × 4 × 2-in. case with an internal, top-mount, variable-speed fan.

Interface signals for Power On, Power Good, Fan Fail and Remote On/Off are provided. The mean time between failure for the series is greater than 100 kWh. All models are EN 60950 and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and feature filtering to EN 55022 Class B and active power factor correction to EN 61000-3-2 D.
