BTS256-E LED-Luxmeter Light Meter
Gigahertz-Optik Inc.Request Info
NEWBURYPORT, Mass., June 1, 2013 — Gigahertz-Optik Inc.’s new BTS256-E LED-Luxmeter light meter characterizes illuminance, color and spectral data in solid-state and other types of light sources.
The meter features a Bi-Technology sensor that includes a precision photometric photodiode and diode array spectrometer. Spectral mismatch errors of the photopic sensor are compensated for on-line using the diode array’s measured spectral data. A built-in electro-optical shutter for dark-signal pixel offset compensation increases the linear dynamic range of the CMOS diode array detector.
A 20-mm-diameter diffuser provides precise cosine-corrected measurement geometry for measuring oblique-angle illuminance as in a parking lot, on the factory floor, or in any application involving overlapping light fields. The large input optic eliminates any hot-spot effects.
The meter is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and features a 240 x 160-pixel resolution transflective display. A USB2 interface and S-BTS256-E software are included.
