SOMERSET, England, May 31, 2013 — The HSi-440C hyperspectral imaging system from Gooch & Housego can analyze multiple signals in fixed and living cells at video rates. It is suitable for standoff detection applications as well as wide-field, bright-field and fluorescence microscopy.

Powered by a tunable filter that can switch wavelengths in microseconds, the system acquires multiwavelength high spatial and spectral resolution image data sets; it also can compute and display quantitative signal-specific or spectrally unmixed images in near real time.

It is available in two application-specific models: the HSi-440CM for use with microscopy applications for fixed-slide clinical diagnostics, and the HSi-440CO with an interchangeable objective lens for stand-alone imaging applications.
