RIVERSIDE, R.I., June 25, 2013 — LaserStar Technologies has released the 7800 series open laser welding workstation for a variety of common spot and seam welding applications, including general welding of large parts, plastic injection mold, dies and tooling repair, complex electronic components, high-precision industrial assemblies and pressure-sensitive hermetic laser sealing.

The workstation — available in multiple power levels ranging from 60 to 200 W — can laser weld a variety of materials, including 300 and some 400 series stainless steel, mild steels, nickel and nickel alloys, titanium, precious metal alloys, and aluminum and aluminum alloys.
