Newport Ultrafast Broadband Turning Mirrors

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 9, 2013 — The Newport Corp.’s two new turning mirrors cover the entire bandwidth range of the Insight laser by Spectra-Physics and are compatible with various other tunable ultrafast lasers.

The mirrors have a diameter of 25.44 mm and are designed to reflect more than 99.6 percent in the 670- to 1340-nm range. They are available in versions optimized for S and P polarizations.

The company says that the thin-film design is optimized for a 45° angle of incidence with minimum pulse dispersion.
