Littrow Dispersion Prisms

SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 23, 2013 — Precision Glass & Optics has released a line of Littrow dispersion prisms for laser cavities and other optical systems, suitable for applications where lasing must be limited to a specific wavelength.

The prisms can be coated or uncoated and feature 30°, 60° and 90° angles. The uncoated prisms disperse white light into its spectral components, while the coated prisms feature an antireflection coating opposite the 60° angle to provide a constant deviation prism.

The prisms feature angular tolerance >1 arcsec, surface quality of 10/5, surface accuracy λ/20 and dimensional tolerances ±0.001 in.
