WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, Sept. 9, 2013 — Teledyne Dalsa has added the higher-performance 200 model to its BOA family of smart cameras for machine vision applications.

Featuring a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor, it delivers more than four times the processing speed of the standard BOA camera, providing additional memory for both program execution and solution storage. Its small, rugged enclosure fits into existing production lines, machinery or moving equipment.

With three types of embedded software, it offers a flexible inspection system that is ready to set up, integrate and deploy on the factory floor. Its software variants include iNspect Express, IDR and Sherlock. All three include a suite of tools and capabilities for standard factory protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus and ProfiNet.
