MUNICH, Oct. 29, 2013 — The FPS3010 interferometric replacement sensor from attocube systems AG is available with M12 radiation-hard sensor heads for operation in radioactive environments at radiation doses of up to 10 MGy.

Qualification for radiation-harsh environments allows the operation of interferometric systems and subsystems close to synchrotron beams and beamlines. Displacement of beam collimators, measurement of Laue-lens positions and other applications with radiation exposure are possible.
