NEWBURY PARK, Calif., Nov. 21, 2013 — Opto Diode Corp.’s SXUVPS4C quadrant photodiode offers a 5 mm2 active area in each quadrant for two-axes-positional-centering laser applications in the 13.5- to 200-nm-wavelength range.

The TO-5 windowless package features a 5-pin header, enabling easy integration into new or existing systems. Light responsivity is from 1 to 1000 nm, and shunt resistance is 100 MΩ.

Operating and storage temperatures range from –10 to 40 ºC (ambient) and from –20 to 80 ºC (in nitrogen or vacuum conditions). The maximum junction temperature is 70 ºC, and the lead-soldering temperature is 260 ºC at 0.080 in. from the case for 10 s.
