GREEN ISLAND, N.Y., Jan. 25, 2014 — TO-39 LEDs from Crystal IS offer UV-C wavelengths from 250 to 280 nm and are suitable for applications such as scientific instrumentation, and air and water quality monitoring. Featuring low-defect aluminum nitride substrates, the LEDs are fabricated by means of an epitaxial deposition process that preserves the low density of the substrate. They offer a viewing angle of 15° and are RoHS-compliant.
