TRENTON, N.J., April 11, 2014 — Princeton Instruments has introduced the NIRvana 640ST for scientific imaging applications in SWIR, part of the NIRvana series of InGaAs imaging cameras.

It features resolution from 900 to 1700 nm, for use in applications such as SWIR fluorescence imaging, small animal imaging, astronomy and deep tissue imaging.

The new imager offers built-in air or liquid cooling, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet data interface for remote operation from up to 50 meters. It delivers a maximum frame rate of 110 frames per second at full resolution.
