The iKon-L SO camera by Andor is a high-energy detection system with a large-area digital CCD platform that is suitable for life sciences laboratory applications such as high-harmonic generation soft x-ray imaging.

The camera offers back-illuminated, full-frame sensors up to 4 megapixels with a quantum efficiency of >90 percent, 1-MHz readout and thermoelectric cooling down to −100 °C. Its 2048 × 2048 array and 13.5 × 13.5-μm pixels deliver a 27.6 × 27.6-mm active image area.
