EDISON, N.J., July 24, 2014 — The Syncerity from Horiba Scientific is a back-illuminated, deep-cooled CCD camera designed for Raman spectroscopy.

The Syncerity’s 2048 × 70 near-infrared sensor and high-resolution 14 µm pixel size offers ultra-low etaloning and more than 40 percent quantum efficiency (QE) at 1000 nm, peak QE of 84 percent at 700 nm, and 20 percent at 1050 nm.

The sensor is designed for companies requiring an OEM camera for visible and NIR spectroscopy applications.
