Miniature Digital Galvo Scanner MotorAs an optoelectronic technology leader, Canon successfully packaged an optical digital position sensor into a 9.5-mm diameter motor. This new addition (GM1005, far right) to the current GM series Digital Galvo family is capable of delivering high-precision and accuracy performance for medical and industrial applications: ±30º scan angle, 2.14-µrad resolution, 5-µrad repeatability and 2.6-kHz scan speed.
