QUEBEC, Sept. 9, 2014 — The Hyper-Cam Methane from Telops is a hyperspectral imaging camera for detecting, identifying and quantifying small quantities of methane.

The device allows mapping of atmospheric methane at concentrations as low as 1 ppm.

Applications include landfill monitoring, biogas emission measurements, characterization of natural gas leaks in hard-to-reach areas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) leak detection and quantification as well as the detection, identification and quantification of greenhouse gases in agriculture, environmental and forensic research.
