8k Linea Line-Scan Camera

WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 13, 2014 — The latest edition to its Linea Series, Teledyne Dalsa’s 8k line-scan camera features a high resolution for machine vision applications.

The monochrome model is built on the same platform as the 2k and 4k models, but acquires images at line rates up to 80 kHz. The camera includes high responsivity in the visible and NIR wavelengths.

Multiple-user coefficient and FCC calibration sets are featured, with programmable and flexible triggering. Camera Link cables up to 10 m are supported.

Applications include materials grading and inspection in the food, road, rail and pharmaceutical fields.
