Toptica's iChrome MLEBiophotonics instrumentation frequently requires several laser wavelengths from one package. TOPTICA´s exceptional iChrome MLE provides a perfect solution: up to four cw or pulsed laser beams from UV to IR (e.g., 405, 488, 561, 640 nm) are combined into one fiber – all integrated in one compact box. From the single-mode polarization-maintaining fiber, the multi laser engine delivers output powers up to 100 mW per line. New models provide output powers up to 100 mW even at 523 or 561 nm. TOPTICA’s unique COOLAC beam-combining technology guarantees perfect opto-mechanical stability and removes the need for any manual alignment or complicated installation: Just one push of a button and the laser is ready for operation!

The Multi Laser Engine provides high-speed analog (1 MHz) and digital modulation (up to 20 MHz) for fast wavelength and power switching with completely independent control of all wavelengths. All diode lasers feature a complete-off state at full modulation speed. The output power can be continuously set between the µW range and full output power. And all laser parameters can be conveniently operated via one intuitive control interface.
