NORTH LOGAN, Utah — Ophir Photonics FL seriesA new line of high-power, fan-cooled sensors from Ophir Photonics Group can measure laser power from 600 mW to 1100 W and energy from 250 mJ to 600 J.

The compact sensors operate with no need for water cooling, which requires fixed water lines and can lead corroded sensors. Each features a 65-mm aperture.

The FL600A-BB-65 is designed for general-purpose measurements. With a broadband absorber, it measures laser power from 600 mW to 600 W.

The FL600A-LP1-65 is for long pulses. It uses the LP1 absorber, measuring power from 1 W to 600 W.

The FL1100A-BB-65 is for the highest powers, from 600 mW to 1100 W, and features a broadband absorber.

All Ophir thermal sensors feature a Smart Connector interface that operates with the company's StarLite, Nova II and Vega smart displays, and Juno PC interface. The display is automatically configured and calibrated when plugged into one of the company's laser measurement heads.
