Two-Chip Laser Module

PEABODY, Mass., June 4, 2015 — SemiNex 2CMSemiNex Corp. has announced the 2CM, a two-chip laser module that outputs up to 8 W of CW power in a single-core fiber.

The 2CM’s chip beams are combined into one fiber with no fiber bundle. The device features an eye-safe wavelength of 1470 nm, along with a 0.22-NA, 200-μm fiber with an SMA 905 connector.

Applications include those requiring high brightness, power and conversion efficiency from a small-form-factor laser.
