NEW TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan, Sept. 15, 2015 — OptocouplerEverlight Electronics Co. Ltd. has announced the EL071L, a single-channel, eight-pin, logic gate optocoupler for standard operating practices in industrial applications.

The device provides 3.3- and 5-V CMOS compatibility with a data transmission rate of 15 Mb/s. A surface-mount device, the EL071L is packaged in a small outline for designs with limited printed circuit board space. A high common mode rejection of >10,000 V/μs is featured for superior anti-interference with 10 kV/μs minimum common mode transient immunity.

The EL071L consists of an IR emitting diode optically coupled to a CMOS detector integrated circuit for industrial applications including data transmission for line receivers, data multiplexing, switching power supplies, pulse transformer replacement, computer peripheral interface and high-speed logic ground isolation.
