WATERLOO, Ontario, Sept. 16, 2015 — Vision Camera SeriesTeledyne Dalsa Inc. has announced the Genie Nano series of GigE Vision cameras, combining CMOS image sensors with a fully optimized camera platform to deliver high frame rates.

The M1920, C1920, M1940 and C1940 models are built around the 2-MP Sony Pregius IMX249 and IMX174 CMOS image sensors, respectively, and are available in monochrome or color. Other models use On Semiconductor Corp.'s Python image sensor.

The Genie Nano cameras are capable of breakthrough data transfer at triple the standard GigE Vision rates. A TurboDrive feature allows for fast frame rates and full image quality.

The cameras are designed for industrial imaging applications in the intelligent traffic system, entertainment, medical, food, electronics and printed circuit board industries.
