PHOENIX, Oct. 15, 2015 — On Semiconductor has announced the MatrixCam video development kit for use in Internet-of-Things products.

The AR023Z 1/3-in. format CMOS image sensor has a 1928 × 1088 active-pixel array.

Applications include home automation systems, building access devices, baby monitors, advanced lighting controls and smart appliances.
