AFL offers the M310 optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) with LinkMap technology to interpret optical networks and present an icon-based view of network elements.
The OTDR accurately locates and measures network events without increasing likelihood of chasing false events using TruEvent technology. With LinkMap, loss and reflectance of network elements are compared to user-set pass/fail thresholds. With a launch quality check and integrated macrobend detection, LinkMap provides a summary showing end-to-end link length, loss and distance.
The device is designed for data centers and enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
