OpTest Systems provide advanced metrology for accurate and efficient lens measurements in applications ranging from space imaging, aerospace, defense, security and medical, to photography and cinematography.
Hardware is composed of Optikos® custom-designed optics, mechanics and electronics that replicate or simulate actual applications—including field angle positions, conjugate ratios, spectral regions and image plane architecture. Upgrade paths are available to expand testing capabilities that may be critical to your specific application, such as transmission and stray light.
OpTest® 7 Software provides easy-to-configure test routines and multiple user modes (Engineering, Laboratory and Production), an elegant graphical user interface (GUI), and a broad range of lens measurements that are critical to performance. OpTest 7 works with both video-based and scanning-based image analyzers. For Optikos® VideoMTF video-based sensors, OpTest 7 acquires and analyzes video images for real-time measurement of MTF and other optical parameters in UV, VIS, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR wavelengths. EROS™ Scanning Image Analyzers are used where video acquisition is impractical, enabling control of the scan length, number of samples, data averaging and filtering. Measurement results are presented intuitively and seamlessly for fast and thorough assessment of lens and image quality.
