GARBSEN, Germany, Feb. 8, 2016 — LPKF Laser & Electronics AG has announced the ProtoLaser S4, a laboratory laser for PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl) processing.

The laser system is equipped with a laser source in the green section of the light spectrum for improved control of the structuring process for fully-coated base materials. It can generate precise structures in the ultrafine conductor range, with a pitch of 65 µm.

Processing of double-sided boards is possible through homogeneous galvanic through-hole plating.
