lPOWERMETERThe Laserstar-RP laser power/energy meter measurement system is able to store up to 50,000 data points onboard in nonvolatile memory. The device from Ophir Optronics Inc. measures repetitive pulses from a range of lasers, including Q-switched, excimer, pulsed-diode, high-power, industrial YAG, alexandrite and ruby. It displays up to 100 J per pulse, average power to 1500 W, pulse frequencies to 15 kHz and maximum pulse widths to 200 ms with an absolute accuracy to ±3%. The statistics screen can be updated in real time or stored for later recall. A numerical data screen allows the user to scroll through data points, including missing pulses.
