The S7727/L7726 red LED/photo integrated circuits cover data rates from 4 to 156 Mb/s. The L7726 has an emission of 650 nm, typical 100-MHz response and -1.5-dBm output. The G78XX receivers and L7892 emitter for Gigabit applications operate at 1 or 2.5 Gb/s. The receivers consist of Si or InGaAs photodiodes integrated with a preamplifier.
