DiCon Fiberoptics Inc. is offering 1533/1541- and 1549/1557-nm filter wavelength division multiplexers housed in 4.7 3 44-mm cylindrical packages. These instruments are used to split 1533/1541-nm blue-band signals from 1549/1557-nm red-band signals in bidirectional transmission systems. They feature resistance to humidity and temperature, 0.6-dB typical insertion loss, operating temperatures from 15 to +65 °C and high isolation over the 13-nm blue or red bands. Custom bandwidths are available.
