The CMS196M temperature stage from Linkam Scientific Instruments Ltd. is designed for cryo-correlative microscopy.
The integrated, encoded, high-resolution motorized XY stage gives the ability to capture an image of the entire electron microscope grid at full resolution. The system produces a single image of the grid that can then be used to navigate the sample and save coordinates of areas of interest, making it easy to image the same area when the sample is transferred to the microscope.
An update of the LINK software for the CMS196M provides improved imaging capabilities, with a new liquid nitrogen autofill system providing longer run times.
