TURIN, Italy, Oct. 17, 2017 — Connectivity BoardsThe MKR WAN 1300 and MKR GSM 1400 boards from Arduino are designed to offer connectivity in Internet of Things (IoT) project development.

MKR WAN 1300 delivers LoRa low-power WAN connectivity, and the Arduino MKR GSM 1400 adds global 2G/3G communications capability. Both of the highly compact boards feature dimensions of 67.64 × 25 mm and low power consumption.

The devices are ideal for emerging battery-powered IoT edge devices in the MKR form factor for applications such as environmental monitoring, tracking, agriculture, energy monitoring and home automation.
