TRENTON, N.J. —
Ultrahigh-performance BLAZE cameras from Princeton Instruments are designed for spectroscopy and feature two new sensors.
BLAZE cameras provide high NIR quantum efficiency, fast spectral rates and deep thermoelectric cooling capabilities. New BLAZE LD-Sensors are exclusive, deep-depletion devices designed for high sensitivity and extremely low dark current, making them ideal for low-light applications. BLAZE incorporates the fastest ADC speeds. The LD camera models can run with dual 10-MHz readout ports, while the HR cameras run with dual 16-MHz readouts, enabling spectral rates of up to thousands of spectra/second with full vertical binning and >215 kHz in kinetics mode.
Applications for the next-generation CCD cameras include Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, nanoparticle research, carbon nanotube studies, pump-probe experiments, fluorescence and micro-spectroscopy.
