EL PASO, Texas — Super-PolishingRoss Optical Industries Inc. has announced a super-polishing capability for windows, mirrors and other flat optics.

The technology can achieve extremely smooth surfaces on optics from 5 to 300 mm in diameter and materials such as fused silica, silicon, Zerodur and visible materials.

A surface quality of 10−5 and a surface roughness of 0.1 nm are attainable.
