SAN DIMAS, Calif., Feb. 9, 2018 — MicrospectrophotometerThe 20/30 PV microspectrophotometer from Craic Technologies Inc. gives users the ability to collect UV-VIS-NIR absorbance, reflectance, fluorescence and Raman spectra of microscopic sample areas with the addition of the new Apollo II Raman microspectrometer.

The 20/30 PV is able to acquire these spectra from the same area because it features CRAIC Technologies proprietary optical aperturing technology. Additionally, the 20/30 PV features the ability to acquire images of these same microscopic samples in the UV, VIS and NIR regions.

Applications include the development of the latest advanced materials, such as graphene and carbon nanotubes, to studying various types of biological samples, including lignins and nanocrystalline cellulose, to the analysis of forensic samples and the measurement of thin film thickness in the semiconductor industry.
