Electronically Controlled ApertureThe Uniblitz AI25 Auto Iris from Vincent Associates is an electronically controlled aperture ideal for remote light attenuation or depth-of-field control.

The system provides an operating range of 1.5 to 25 mm in 54 steps and a closing speed of .22s and 4 msec/step. An optional housing is available, which gives the AI25 a compact package with no externally protruding components and two flat mounting surfaces.

The AI25’s low-profile form factor allows it to be used in applications where spatial limitations are a consideration. Uses include aerial photography to laser beam attenuation.
