fheadThe Pyrofiber single-axis fiber optic sensor head measures IR temperature and emissivity values of miniature targets. The Pyrometer Instrument Co. Inc. designed it to measure target sizes to 1 mm using its patented pulse laser technology, which enables the device to simultaneously measure IR radiance while correcting unknown emissivity values. The sensor head's design allows energy for both the radiance and emissivity-correcting laser return signal to travel on the same axis. It features a stainless steel construction that can withstand ambient temperatures up to 250 °C. Other available models can accommodate temperatures up to 3000 °C.
