Exfo announces its IQ-2600B and FLS-2600B tunable laser sources for testing and characterizing DWDM and passive fiber optic components. The lasers, which are offered as a modular source for inclusion in integrated test stations or as a stand-alone device for benchtop setups, produce 1510- to 1615-nm continuously tunable output with 65 dB of noise suppression. The erbium-doped fiber sources offer high gain in the L-band, and selective filtering reduces linewidth.
