The new low-cost MMS NIR sensor from Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH features a sturdy, compact design and is highly flexible in applications such as petrochemistry and food analysis. This spectral sensor comprises a solid glass body with a fiber shape converter and an InGaAs diode array. The image-corrected and NIR-blazed grating, large aperture and shape-converting technique result in high light intensity. The MMS can be equipped with different diode arrays for spectral range requirements other than the near-infrared.
