EP30-3 is an epoxy adhesive, sealant and encapsulant featuring high-temperature resistance, low viscosity and a noncritical 100- to 30-mix ratio by weight. This optically clear, two-component system from Master Bond Inc. has a service operating range of -60 to +435 °F and produces high strength bonds to similar and dissimilar substrates, metals, glass, ceramics, wood and many plastics. EP30-3 has a pot life of 12 to 18 h and contains no solvents or diluents. Tensile sheer strengths of 3000 psi are obtained after cure, and the bonds retain this strength when exposed to the 350 to 400 °F range.
