American Fibertek Inc. designed its low-profile fiber optic transceivers for use with pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) integrated camera systems and for easy installation in small spaces. The M series consists of four multimode single-fiber transceivers that provide noise-free video with bidirectional data for PTZ operation, setup or lens control. Features include automatic gain control circuitry, video, power and optical presence diagnostics and full-color transmission. The units can be supplied as stand-alone modules or as rack cards in the company's SR20 card cage.
