The Terraview LCW series of thermoelectric heat exchangers from Solid State Cooling Systems has an operating temperature range of -20 to +90 °C, a cooling capacity range of 200 to 4000 W at 25 °C and a heating capacity range of 600 to 11,000 W at 25 °C. The company says the devices have a 90% smaller footprint than current compressor-based chillers and offer precise temperature control, fast response time, and silent, vibration-free operation. No maintenance is required since there are no moving parts, and no heater is needed for temperature control when using a bipolar power supply. The heat exchangers' cooling and heating capacity can be configured to meet user requirements.
