The F150-3 vision sensor from Omron Electronics Inc. has dual-camera capability for two simultaneous inspections and measurements, such as the side and top of an object. The sensor offers an intelligent light source that allows users to set the light intensity and direction for accurate inspections. The F150-3's functionality provides up to 16 setup scenes and up to 16 windows in each scene using its Vision Composer software. The company says the Windows-based configuration software enables the quick setup of flexible inspection programs. Its graphic user interface allows the user to create a process flowchart by dragging and dropping from a library list.
