The WebLite series of fiber optic line arrays from StockerYale Inc. delivers an intense line of uniform light suitable for high-speed line-scan applications. The arrays use high-output 0.66-NA glass fiber to project uniform lines of cool illumination for web inspection of rolled goods in the paper, steel, aluminum and plastics industries. Aperture lengths from 18 to 112 in. are available, as well as customized sizes. A sealed lens hood encloses a fixed-focus rod lens that projects a 0.25-in. stripe of light at a working distance from 4 to 6 in.
