Instrument Systems GmbH has introduced the CAS 140B models of array
spectrometers. Supplied with diode array, CCD and InGaAs detectors,
these devices are suited for spectroradiometry and photometry
applications. Users can choose from a diode array or CCD with 1024
pixels and operation from 190 to 1100 nm; the InGaAs detector has 256
pixels and operates in the 800- to 1650-nm range. Standard cooling is
down to 0 °C and the flat-field spectrograph has a 140-mm focal length.
Spectral resolution is from 2 to 12 nm, depending on the selected entry
slit. A 15-bit A/D converter is supplied.
