Preco Industries has introduced the PL3143, a flatbed vector/raster laser system for cutting a variety of materials, including most plastics, acrylics, polyester films, rubber, paper, leather, wood and foams. Available in 50, 100 and 250 W, the sealed CO2 laser system features a maximum cutting speed of 1000 mm/s with accuracy to ±0.1 mm and X-Y-Z resolution of 0.01 mm. It has a honeycomb working area of 800 x 1100 mm, a maximum payload of 30 kg and a 1900 x 2200 x 1600-mm footprint. The system can achieve 0.1-mm repeatability, and it has a Z-axis travel and height adjustment of 100 mm.
