Repetition rates up to 5 kHz and pulses up to 3 ms are provided by pyroelectric and photodiode laser energy heads from Ophir Optronics Inc. The devices produce energies from nanojoules to 40 J per pulse and feature calibration at major laser wavelengths and built-in wavelength correction for high accuracy. Metallic and broadband coatings for a high damage threshold are offered. Very long and short pulses can be measured with the same head when it is used with Nova, Laserstar or Orion P displays. Diffuser models are available for high-energy lasers.
