Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.Off-axis metal parabolic reflectors that direct or focus incident collimated light at 30°, 60° or 90° are available from Edmund Industrial Optics. The mirrors are designed to focus light to a spot that is more accessible than an on-axis spot. They are suitable for use in MTF systems and laser beam expanders and as collimators for Schlierien systems. These λ/4 optics have diameters of 25.4 or 50.8 mm and effective focal lengths of approximately 25 to more than 150 mm. Aluminum and gold coatings are offered for visible and forward-looking-IR applications, respectively.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 10/3/2023Optical Design SoftwareThe Thinoxide software suite from Thinoxide Software Ltd. is a web-based optical design software that is free to use, providing a graphical implementation of the thin-film transfer-matrix method for...Photonics.com 3/27/2024Fiber Metalization SystemThe Midas Metalization System from Intlvac is designed to produce a single or multilayer symmetrical metal coating on ends, mid spans, or windows of optical fibers for use in a hermetically sealed...Photonics.com 8/31/2022Broadband and Wide-angle Laser Line MirrorsBroadband and Wide-angle Laser Line Mirrors from Knight Optical Ltd. feature an Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) coating to meet the demanding requirements sought by laser system manufacturers. ...Photonics Spectra July 2023 IssueMetrology SystemThe MESO™ metrology solution from Imagine Optic is designed for at-wavelength testing of flat surfaces.
