Request InfoOcean Optics - Part of Ocean InsightOcean Optics Inc. has introduced an optical profiling instrument that performs absolute figure measurements on large flats, spheres and aspheres up to 1500 mm in diameter. The LTP-IV long trace profilometer enables users to characterize the figure and mid-frequency errors on cylindrical aspheres that are more than 1 m long. It measures the shape of aspheric optics, such as cylinders, toroids, ellipsoids and hyperboloids, and also can be used to test adaptive optics and mirror-bending mechanisms. The company says it eliminates the air-bearing system and compressor of the LTP-II.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content March 2023 IssueCustom Precision OpticsSince 1947, three generations of family leadership have positioned LaCroix Precision Optics as the premier manufacturer of precision optics in America.
