The company says its VBG wave-locking technology transforms multimode diodes into narrowband emitters with a linewidth of <0.5 nm, central wavelength control of <±0.5 nm and thermal sensitivity of only 0.01 nm/°C. The gratings reduce or eliminate redshift, extending the lifetime of diode pump bars.
