Request InfoTeledyne Princeton InstrumentsPrinceton Instruments has expanded its OMA V series with an InGaAs detection system that uses a 1024-element linear photodiode array to offer near-IR sensitivity from 1.0 to 2.2 µm. The 16-bit system is suitable for Raman, absorbance and emission spectroscopy applications. The company says that the InGaAs used has less intrinsic dark noise than earlier generations do and that the detector can provide 10 times the sensitivity of previous versions. The system has 25 × 250-µm pixels for high resolution, good well capacity and a spectral data rate of 900 spectra per second.
